Sandhurst Road is a railway station on the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. It is the third stop from Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus.

Named after Lord Sandhurst, the Governor of Bombay between 1895 and 1900, the station was built in 1910 using funds from the Bombay City Improvement Trust, which he helped raise. The Sandhurst Road railway station (upper level servicing the Harbour Line) was built in 1921. The supporting pillars of the edifice bear the inscription "GIPR 1921 Lutha Iron Works, Glasgow. The fabricated metal was imported from the United Kingdom.

Sandhurst Road will be the first station on the Central Line to be completely integrated into a computer-based information system called Train Management System (TMS) which will display accurate train schedules. Hundreds of computers and signal points on tracks will be connected so that the movement of every train towards or away from Sandhurst Road station will find its way on indicators installed at the station. Once TMS is set up at the station, train timings which were earlier manually fed, will automatically be displayed by indicators. A countdown leading to the arrival of a train on a platform will help commuters assess the arrival time with more precision.[1]
